Contributions & Accomplishments
- Lauren is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of the LTISD, having been elected in 2018.
- She has served as Secretary for the Board since 2019.
- Lauren was selected to attend the 2020-2021 Leadership Class for the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB). Trustees are selected for this intensive leadership program based on their record of local leadership.
- Lauren also was selected by fellow LTISD trustees to represent the district at the TASB Convention in 2019 and 2020.
- Locally, Lauren has served as an ex-officio member of the 2019 Rezoning Committee and the 2021 District of Innovation Committee.
- Lauren is a member of the Central Texas School Board Association and the School Board Advocacy Network.
- Lauren advocates for the needs of Lake Travis ISD at the state level.

About Lauren White
Lauren and her husband Brandon moved to Lakeway 8 years ago so that their three children could attend school in Lake Travis ISD. Sloane (Class of 2029) and Corinne (Class of 2032) attend Rough Hollow Elementary School, and Silas (Class of 2027) attends Lake Travis Middle School. Lauren graduated from Vanderbilt University with a double major in Elementary and Special Education. She taught elementary and special education for a decade, working in the public schools of Washington, D.C. and Austin.
